Welcome to the Web Page for the Amateur Mendicant Society of Detroit! We are the largest and oldest Sherlock Holmes Club in Detroit. We currently meet quarterly at various locations throughout Metro Detroit.

Great news & nice going! The Mendicants join the Web -- but not the one masterminded by the evil Moriarty! We can hear it now, muffled in the London fog -- the clop-clop of a hansom cab, the shrill note of a bobbie's whistle and a voice booming out of the darkness: "You've got mail!"
