September Meeting Notice

And we hope this invitation brings a glimmer of life to your face and that you will join us at the upcoming autumnal meeting of The Amateur Mendicant Society of Detroit.

Our assigned story is “The Adventure of the Lion’s Mane” in which Holmes’ retirement is interrupted by strange deaths, a mysterious killer and a beautiful woman. There will be a short discussion of the story so we hope you’ll peruse it.

The afternoon’s main presentation will be “The Sherlockian Pastiche: Prevalent or Passé?” by fellow Mendicant Glenn Walters.
