As the day’s light grows increasingly longer, the sounds of bird greetings of the morning, along with new growth of spring flowers that brighten the days, nature is preparing you for the Spring dinner meeting of the Amateur Mendicant Society.
When: Sunday, May 7, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM

Where: Sheila Teas, 115 E. 4th Street in Rochester (248-601-0648)
The restaurant is one block east of Main (Rochester Rd.). It is recognizable by its British and Welsh flags in front of the building. Additional parking is available east of the building.
Why: To gather in friendship and further our knowledge of Sherlockiana
Who: Dr. David Mohan will present a paper on his study regarding the Devil's Foot.
Wow: Mendicants are asked to bring an item to offer for the AUCTION that is planned for a future meeting.
Win: A Sherlockian item will be awarded to the winner of the quiz on the Devil’s Foot.
Wallet Wound: The lunch of 1) Salmon Cakes, or 2) Sheppards Pie, mixed greens or veggies, rhubarb pie for dessert, and tea will lighten the purse by $22.00 per person.
